Privacy Policy
Effective October 1, 2026
Key Tech Grp LLC (“Key Tech Grp”, “we”, “us”) is a New Hampshire company that provides software development services and operates a short-term-rental co-hosting business, supported by our own Co-Host Platform. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use and protect it, and the choices you have. It applies to this website (keytechgrp.com) and to the co-hosting, bookkeeping and platform services we provide.
In short:
- We don’t sell personal information, and we don’t use it for targeted advertising.
- This website uses no cookies, analytics or tracking tools.
- If you connect a bank account through Plaid, we never see your bank login details, and we use your transaction data only for your bookkeeping.
- You can ask us to access, correct or delete your information at any time.
1. Information we collect
Website visitors
- No cookies or analytics. This website doesn’t set cookies or use analytics, advertising or tracking scripts.
- Server logs. Like any website, our hosting provider automatically records standard technical information when you visit: your IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the time of the request. These logs are used only to operate and secure the website.
- Contact form. Our contact form doesn’t send information to our servers. It opens your own email program with a message addressed to us. We receive only what you choose to send, such as your name, email address and message.
Property owners and clients
- Contact details, such as name, email address, phone number and mailing address.
- Property information, such as addresses, listing details and service arrangements.
- Financial records needed to keep your books, such as owner statements, invoices, receipts, and bank and credit card transactions.
- Tax information needed for bookkeeping and year-end reporting, such as tax identification numbers.
Bank account data through Plaid
With your permission, we use Plaid Inc. (“Plaid”) to connect to your bank and credit card accounts. When you connect an account:
- You enter your bank login details directly into Plaid’s secure interface. We never see or store your bank username or password.
- Plaid gives us account information, such as account names, account types, the last digits of account numbers, balances and transaction history.
- We use this information only to import, categorize and reconcile transactions for your bookkeeping.
By connecting an account, you also agree to Plaid’s handling of your information under the Plaid End User Privacy Policy. You can see and manage your Plaid connections at my.plaid.com.
Guests at properties we manage
- Reservation details from booking platforms and channels (such as Lodgify, Airbnb and Vrbo): name, contact details, stay dates, number of guests, amounts paid and messages.
- Information you provide during check-in or guest registration, such as vehicle details for parking at the property.
- Property access information, such as door codes issued for your stay.
Users of our platform
If you sign in to the Co-Host Platform with Google, we receive your name and email address from Google to identify your account. We don’t receive your Google password.
2. How we use information
- To provide our services: managing reservations, communicating with guests, coordinating property operations and keeping property owners’ books.
- To prepare owner statements, reconcile accounts and support tax reporting.
- To secure properties and our systems, and to prevent fraud.
- To respond to your enquiries and send service-related messages.
- To send guests occasional emails about our properties. Every such email includes an unsubscribe link, and we honor opt-outs.
- To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.
We don’t sell personal information, share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, or use bank data for any purpose other than the account holder’s own bookkeeping.
3. How we share information
We share information only as needed to provide our services:
- Service providers that operate on our behalf, such as booking and channel-management platforms, Plaid (bank connections), Google (sign-in), our email service provider and our website host.
- Property owners, who receive reservation and financial information about their own properties.
- Accountants and tax preparers engaged by us or by a property owner, for that owner’s records.
- Legal requirements: when required by law or legal process, or to protect the rights, property or safety of our guests, clients or others.
- Business transfers: if Key Tech Grp is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, subject to this policy’s protections.
4. How we protect information
- Our platform and accounting systems run on our own private infrastructure and are reachable only over an encrypted private network. They are not publicly accessible.
- Remote connections to our systems are encrypted in transit.
- Access is limited to the people who need it to provide our services, and each system uses its own credentials.
- Credentials for connected services, such as bank connections, are stored with restricted access and are never shared between clients.
- Data is backed up regularly, and we review our security practices on an ongoing basis.
No system is perfectly secure. If we learn of a security incident affecting your personal information, we will notify you as required by law.
5. How long we keep information
- We keep information for as long as we provide services to you, and afterwards as long as needed to meet legal, tax and accounting obligations. Financial records are generally kept for seven years.
- When a client relationship ends, we disconnect any Plaid bank connections for that client and stop importing their data.
- Website server logs are kept only for the short period set by our hosting provider.
6. Your choices and rights
You may ask us to:
- tell you what personal information we hold about you, and give you a copy;
- correct inaccurate information;
- delete your information, unless we must keep it for legal, tax or accounting reasons;
- disconnect a bank account linked through Plaid (you can also do this yourself at my.plaid.com);
- stop sending you marketing emails.
To make a request, contact us using the details below. We will respond within 45 days. We won’t treat you differently for exercising these rights.
7. Children
Our website and services are not directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect personal information from them. Reservations must be made by adults.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we’ll change the effective date at the top of this page. If a change materially affects how we use information you’ve already given us, we’ll let affected clients know directly.
